Lumi SS2018 pattern was inspired by finish natural flowers. Flowers where painted by hand and printed on leather.
LUMI SS18 collection brings you the blue moment in the city, that surreal moment in the in between, when day turns into night, as the last glimmers of sunlight mix with the rising city lights; a moment when everything — people, buildings, nature — is saturated in the most vivid, pastel colors, further ampli ed by the evening’s growing shadows. This is also the moment when the melancholy for the past day mixes with the anticipation of the night ahead, and everything feels possible.
The center-piece of the collection is a second version of a geometrical pattern printed on leather, which was designed by the Finnish artist and illustrator Jenni Ritamäki, in collaboration with LUMI. This print can be found on selected handbags and shoes, now in the bold new color palette.
